14 luglio Time to writeWell I thought since I list that I enjoy writing...perhaps I should start. It seems that someone named Tori finds my Blog confusing. Well life is confusing most of the time. I am sorry Tori that I have added to that confusion for you.
I recently went on a family vacation to Washington State. Yes there are plenty of pictures to view and a bunch more to add yet. I still can not clear my ears from the plane flight. I can not imagine they will stay like this forever though.
I had not flown in over twelve years but still found it enjoyable. I must add however that the post 911 effects at the airport deeply sadden me and anger me as well. Nuff said.
I had the chance to stay with my Sister Carol, Brother In-law Paul and sons Garret & Andrew while out there. They are the most gracious of hosts and I felt proud and fortunate that they are my family. I also had time with my Son Brandon, my sister Sue as well as neices Merete and Taylor. Nicolos was back in Minnesota with his Dad Tom & I got to take his room for the visit...next time I am going to steal his comforter.
We had the chance to visit many new places including Victoria B.C. where I had the fortune of meeting up with my friend and former co-worker Chris. Her and her stepdaughters were our tour guides on day one and Chris was our tour guide on day two. Chris's husband Dave even made us lunch on day two...it was fantastic & I must remember to get their cucumber recipe. Unfortunately we had to eat and run.
I learned more about my sister Sue and found that she can sure pick up where I chicken out... Thank God for that because those flippin cliffs just freak me out! I believe that my son Brandon had a great time and that this vacation was one of the best things ever for him. I hope that this trip was one to open his mind to possibilities. He sure made me proud to be his Mom. Neices and nephews? I was able to get to know them better as well and what a bunch of great young minds. I wish I could of let Merete drive that van.
